I am an Integrative Art Psychotherapist working with adults, I use talking therapy as well as art and creativity to support my clients in gaining a greater understanding of themselves. Utilising the arts in therapy is a great way to help my clients explore deeper and perhaps more hidden thoughts and feelings, this can bring clarity and insight. This insight opens the door to the meaningful change they are seeking. Using the arts isn’t about being ‘good’ at art or creating something aesthetic, it is about creative expression. It is about getting to the heart of your experience and the depths of your emotional world. Being integrative means that I use a wide range of psychological approaches and theories to tailor the therapy to best suit my client’s individual needs.

My Experience:

I have been providing art therapy to clients for 5+ years, working in many different settings such as in charities, community services, the NHS and privately. I have had previous experience of working with clients dealing with such issues as: depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, bereavement, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, abusive relationships.
